Hello out there!
After reconnecting with an old friend, I’ve decided to give blogging a go. This is brand new terrain to me, and I’m working my way through it. Still learning how to create a proper profile, add photos, and even what the word “widget” means. I’ve been doing a little lurking on the blogging scene for the past few weeks, and I have been dying to comment on sooo many posts! I think I’ll leave this space open for a little bit before I start regularly blogging – I need some time to get acclimated to this as it’s pretty intimidating for a girl who can barely facebook!

My name is Erin J. I have my B.S. in Food, Nutrition & Dietetics. I eat vegan foods (although I hate to attach that label so early on in this introduction. I admittedly wear leather boots, have leather seats in my car, and when the intense desire comes over me about four times a year, I’ll give in and eat a piece of grilled salmon). I also eat a high-raw diet. Some days are higher than others. I love to prepare and cook food – it’s how I unwind after a long day. The only time I follow a recipe is when I bake, which is a very rare occasion, indeed. My current workout of choice is Bikram yoga, but this changes like the wind. I love everything in and on the ocean – the ocean has been my home since I was a wee one. I love live music and I love to read. I’ve been through a lot in this short life of mine, and yet I keep on keepin’ on.
Oh yes, two more words: Cabernet Sauvignon
